- 20 ml white port wine
- 20 ml cherry brandy
- 8 leaves of mint
- Thomas Henry Cherry Blossom Tonic
Glass: nosing glass | Garnish: brandy cherry | Technique: stir, strain
Fill the mixing glass with ice. Stir the port, cherry brandy and mint in it. Strain the contents of the mixing glass into the nosing glass, fill up with Thomas Henry Cherry Blossom Tonic, stir gently and garnish. Cheers!
Preparation brandy cherry:
Cover the cherries with brandy and leave them in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. Remove the cherries from the brandy and use them quickly afterwards. The taste can be refined by adding cinnamon sticks, anise and/or orange zest along with the cherries in the brandy.
