Grand Army is a good-looking neighborhood cocktail bar in Boerum Hill, Downtown Brooklyn. Specialized in craft cocktails, sustainable seafood and seasonal vegetable dishes, it embodies all of the ideals of a perfect neighborhood pub. There is a custom built oyster bar and a total of 60 seats divided evenly between bar and tables. The center piece of the room is the wood burning fireplace crowned by a bar. The overall vibe is very warm, comfortable and welcoming that it practically begs people to drop in anytime they’re within a ten-block radius. The cocktail menu changes seasonally and always manages to be filled with all sorts of intriguingly esoteric ingredients. It is always respectful of classics, yet themed inspired by somewhat exotic: Black-metal album titles, Gilmore Girls, Brother Grimm Fairy Tales or My Little Pony.
